11-Program Review FY 2024—It’s almost showtime

April 28, 2023.  FY 2024 Program Review Key Deadline Countdown

It’s almost showtime.

We’ve been on the Pathway to Stabilization and FY 2024 Program Review journey together since August 2022.

We launched our first tip email to help you on that journey on November 29, 2022.

Now, here we are at our first major milestone in the FY 2024 Program Review: departments are finishing their Program Review pages. Departments are telling their stories about what they do and how important it is for the community. Plus, for the first time, departments are describing what they are planning for in the future.

It’s almost showtime.

All the discussions you’ve had, the tips you’ve read, the conversations you’ve had with your teams and your analysts, the thinking you’ve done, the workshops you’ve attended, the learning you’ve done, the decisions you’ve been making…

It’s almost showtime!

Need a little more inspiration? Watch this 30-second video: https://youtu.be/5zKn8ASzC5c

Need even more inspiration? Ask your analyst to share examples of the excellent Program Review pages we’ve seen in draft. We are finding some very compelling “Why we do it” sections, some very clear current service level statements, and thoughtful future-focused recommended service level statements.

Also, please join us for this Friday’s workshop for people who plan. We will talk about any lingering pieces you might need help with and also look ahead to what’s next on our pathway to stabilization: managing organizational performance with data. Register here.

Once again, let us know how we can help, or visit the Toolkit for existing resources.
